Shane Haltman, known as Hälts, is an artist based in British Columbia, Canada. He works in various art forms like murals, street art, fine art, digital art, sound design, and digital filmmaking. His art blurs reality with imagination, mixing documentary with surrealism, memories with dreams, and analog with digital. For almost 20 years, he has been immersed in creativity, showcasing his art from traditional canvases to unexpected places, like on an ice cream truck. His first art show was in a coffee shop called Blue Dawg Cafe. In 2009 he won an AFA grant and was very fortunate to be part of an art show in New York City, with renowned gallerist Ivy Brown. In 2010 he worked on his first large scale mural as part of a team for a Cirque du Soleil show called, Kooza. This was a significant milestone and really kickstarted his mural adventure. Since his humble beginnings, his art has been displayed globally, finding its way into galleries, homes, countless walls and even museums. Lately Halts has been exploring digital cinematography, sound design, and NFTs. Hälts Art reflects themes of balance, peace, and connections. Shane is open to commissions and collaborations, and is reachable through his contact page. Thank you for your interest.
